Peach State Instruments was founded in 1986 as a repair and calibration center for electrical and electronic test and measurement equipment. During the first two years of business, manufacturers of test and measurement products recognized the technical expertise and commitment of Peach State Instruments and its employees, and invited PSI to become a distributor and service center for their products.

In the fall of 1988, after developing partnerships with manufacturers, Peach State Instrument Company expanded its facility and product offerings, representing over 30 major manufacturers of instrument products. With over a decade of experience in the industry, PSI has established itself as a leader in the wholesale distribution of electrical instrument products.
